How to play

How It Works

The platform flow is now centered on real-match timing. Users can read about the contest before the start, but team creation only opens after the official IPL match window begins, and player selection should only happen once the confirmed playing XI is available.

Step by step

The skill-match flow Cric BatBall should follow.

Each step below reduces confusion. Users should understand exactly when they can play, when they still need to wait, and why the confirmed playing XI matters before team selection begins.

01

Open the fixture and read the match brief

Start with the upcoming IPL fixture, the start time, and the visible skill-match rules. At this stage the platform is still informational, not playable.

02

Wait for the official match-start window

The homepage timer should count down to March 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM IST. Before that point, team creation remains locked.

03

Open team creation only when the real match is live

Once the official match window begins, Cric BatBall can allow team creation to appear. That keeps the experience connected to the real event instead of offering fake pre-match entry.

04

Select players after the official playing XI is released

Users should only be able to choose players after the lineup is confirmed. This is the main trust rule behind the platform's skill-match positioning.

05

Track live scoring after the match begins

Once the team is built from the official lineup, users can follow live player contribution, score movement, and final ranking outcomes.

Key rule

The site should repeat the lock-and-lineup rule clearly.

  • No playable match entry before the official IPL start window
  • No player picking before the confirmed playing XI is available
  • Team creation should feel live, not artificially early
  • Users should know exactly why entry is still locked if the match has not begun
What this improves

Real-match timing makes the platform feel more credible.

When users see that Cric BatBall only opens play around the actual match and official lineups, the platform feels more disciplined, clearer, and easier to trust.
